St Ives Choir : October 2024 Concert - Around the Wold

The St Ives choir held its bi-monthly concert on 25 October 2024. The first series of songs were If I Ruled The World The Drinking Song Tulips From Amsterdam April In Portugal There is a Place For Us (Somewhere) Phil then sang the solo  "San Francisco (Flower in your Hair)" (Note: YouTube would not let this song be uploaded due to copyright restrictions) The first singalong contained the following songs Slow Boat To China Island In The Sun (accompanied by Rod on the Ukulele) California Here I Come The Lambeth Walk Mac & the Choir then sang  "True Blue" The Choir then sang a group of 5 songs: Chicago Streets Of London Eidelweiss I Left My Heart In San Fransisco Colour My World The second singalong compirsed Jamaca Farwell Day Trip To Bangor (accompanied by Rod on the Ukulele) If You're Irish Scotland The Brave (accompanied by real bagpipes) Pamela Jan & Gerda then sung Under The Bridges Of Paris The final section of songs by the choir ware Funinculi Funin...

 The choir put on its bi-monthly concert on 30th August. The first bracket of songs was: There's No Business Like Show Business I Dreamed A Dream Camelot People Will Say We're In Love If I Ruled The World Mac performed the Solo "Signing The Blues" The first singalong contained the songs Anything Goes You're The Cream In My Coffee Heart Of My Heart Hey Look Me Over which was led by John & Murle Pam sung the next Solo "This Nearly Was Mine" The 2nd bracket of songs sung by the Choir was It's A Most Unusual Day A Dream Is A Wish The Impossible Dream Out Of My Dreams All I Have To Do Is Dream Coralie then sang the solo "A Star Fell From Heaven" The 2nd singalong contained the songs Give My Regards To Broadway There's A Rainbow Round My Shoulder Enjoy Yourself Moon River which was lead by Bev & Mac Phil Sang The Solo "Music Of the Night" The last section of songs was You'll Never Walk Alone Ons (Singular Sensation) Thin...

 The concert took place on Friday 24th June 2024. March 2024 Concert - “Northshore Country”

 On 1st March the choir did the first concert of 2024 titled “Northshore Country”. A solo’s with backing by the choir was done by Phil, Mac & Pam did a duet “Doin’ what comaes naturally”. Christmas 2023 Concert

The Christmas 2023 Carols Concerts held on 15th December. It was held after the Christmas evening meal, which probably contributed to the sell out crowd.   The St Ives Choir performed a concert on 25 August 2023 titled "Without a Song!". Here are a few pictures of the Choir and the stage decorations.
