St Ives Choir - August 2024 - Merry Melodies


 The choir put on its bi-monthly concert on 30th August.

The first bracket of songs was:

  • There's No Business Like Show Business
  • I Dreamed A Dream
  • Camelot
  • People Will Say We're In Love
  • If I Ruled The World


Mac performed the Solo "Signing The Blues"

The first singalong contained the songs

  • Anything Goes
  • You're The Cream In My Coffee
  • Heart Of My Heart
  • Hey Look Me Over
which was led by John & Murle




Pam sung the next Solo "This Nearly Was Mine"




The 2nd bracket of songs sung by the Choir was
  • It's A Most Unusual Day
  • A Dream Is A Wish
  • The Impossible Dream
  • Out Of My Dreams
  • All I Have To Do Is Dream




Coralie then sang the solo "A Star Fell From Heaven"

The 2nd singalong contained the songs
  • Give My Regards To Broadway
  • There's A Rainbow Round My Shoulder
  • Enjoy Yourself
  • Moon River
which was lead by Bev & Mac





Phil Sang The Solo "Music Of the Night"





The last section of songs was
  • You'll Never Walk Alone
  • Ons (Singular Sensation)
  • Think Of Me
  • Do You Hear The People Sing
  • Love Changes Everything

St Ives Choir - Anzac Day Concert

 The St Ives choir held its bi-monthly concert on 26 April 2025. The concert commemorated Anzac Day exactly 110 years and 1 day after the Gallipoli landing. The first set of songs were : Bless Em All This is the Army Mr Jones Kiss Me Goodnight Sargent Major Wish Me Luck Rodney then did a Solo both singing and playing the Ukulele Christmas 1915 The first audience singalong contained the songs Don't Sit Under The Apple tree Ma I Miss Your Apple Pie Sing As We Go It's A Long Way To Go To Tipperary The second set of songs sung by the Choir were Till We Meet Again Rose Of No Mans Land I'll See You Again A Nightingale Sang in Berkley Square Well Meet Again Bev then did a Reading of a Poem by Jack Drake, The Waters Of The Well The second audience singalong contained the following songs You Are My Sunshine There's A Boy Coming Home On Leave White Cliffs Of Dover When They Sound The Last All Clear The choir then sang a third set of songs Coming In On A Wind And A Prayer Harbour ...

  The St Ives choir held its bi-monthly concert on 31 October 2025 The first series of songs were That's Entertainment Give My Regards To Broadway On Moonlight Bay Cheek To Cheek Hello Dolly The first solo was sung by John & the choir Get Me To The Church On Time The first singalong was led by Angie & Mac Sound Of Music Spoonful Of Sugar The Street Where  You Live The Wizard Of Oz The second set of songs sung by the choir were Lullaby Of Broadway Food, Glorious Food This Nearby Was Mine All I Ask Of You Somewhere Out There The second singalong consisted of Zip A Dee Doo Dah Enjoy Yourself Dream Whistle While You Work The second solo was sung by Phil & the choir (with Video!)
