St Ives Choir Concert - Christmas Concert 2025

On December 19 2005 at 7:00pm, the St Ives Choir held their Annual Christmas Concert. The first series of songs were : We Need a Little Christmas Now Joy To the world It Came Upon a Midnight Clear / Silent Night What Child Is This The first singalong was led by Murle : Deck the Halls Santa Claus is Coming To Town Go Tell It To The Mountain The first Solo sung by Coralie & the Choir was Mary Did You Know ? The second set of choir songs were Aussue Jingle Bells (sung by Mac and the kids) Bush Night Song When A Child Is Born Xmas Silver Bells The Three Drovers The next singalong was led by Mac : The First Noel While Shepherds Watched Hark the Herald Angels Sing O Come All Ye Faithful John Wright and the choir sang the next solo The Holy City (Jerusalem) The third set of choir songs were : Bell Carol of the King Coventry Carol Mary's Boy Child Do You Hear What I Hear The next singalong was led by Phil : White Christmas The Christmas Song (Chestnuts Roasting on an Open Fire) Jingle ...

  The St Ives choir held its bi-monthly concert on 31 October 2025 The first series of songs were That's Entertainment Give My Regards To Broadway On Moonlight Bay Cheek To Cheek Hello Dolly The first solo was sung by John & the choir Get Me To The Church On Time The first singalong was led by Angie & Mac Sound Of Music Spoonful Of Sugar The Street Where  You Live The Wizard Of Oz The second set of songs sung by the choir were Lullaby Of Broadway Food, Glorious Food This Nearby Was Mine All I Ask Of You Somewhere Out There The second singalong consisted of Zip A Dee Doo Dah Enjoy Yourself Dream Whistle While You Work The second solo was sung by Phil & the choir (with Video!)   The St Ives choir held it's bi-monthly concert on 27 June 2025. The concert has a Country & Western theme. The first set of songs were : Zip a Dee Doo Dah The Farmer and the Cowman Ghost Riders in the Sky Liberty Valance Jolene Rawhide The first singalong consisted on the songs : Buttons and Bows Deep in the Heart of Texas Tie a Yellow Ribbon Don’t Fence Me In Phil, backed by the Choir sang : Rhinestone Cowboy The Choir then sang it's second set of songs : They Call the Wind Maria I Walk the Line Hit the Road Jack I Was Born Under a Wandering Star The second singalong consisted of the songs : Red River Valley Someplace Green Beautiful Brown Eyes O Lonesome Me John, backed by the Choir sang the song : The Gambler The final set of songs sang bybthe Choir were : Shelter Click Go the Shears The Pub With No Beer Give Me a Home Among the Gum Trees I Still Call Australia Home Here are a few Photos from the night :

St Ives Choir - Anzac Day Concert

 The St Ives choir held its bi-monthly concert on 26 April 2025. The concert commemorated Anzac Day exactly 110 years and 1 day after the Gallipoli landing. The first set of songs were : Bless Em All This is the Army Mr Jones Kiss Me Goodnight Sargent Major Wish Me Luck Rodney then did a Solo both singing and playing the Ukulele Christmas 1915 The first audience singalong contained the songs Don't Sit Under The Apple tree Ma I Miss Your Apple Pie Sing As We Go It's A Long Way To Go To Tipperary The second set of songs sung by the Choir were Till We Meet Again Rose Of No Mans Land I'll See You Again A Nightingale Sang in Berkley Square Well Meet Again Bev then did a Reading of a Poem by Jack Drake, The Waters Of The Well The second audience singalong contained the following songs You Are My Sunshine There's A Boy Coming Home On Leave White Cliffs Of Dover When They Sound The Last All Clear The choir then sang a third set of songs Coming In On A Wind And A Prayer Harbour ...
